Over 25 years ago, I sat in my car listening to a radio program. I could not believe what I was hearing. U.S. Marines were training South American rebels in the fine art of torture. Could it be true? I sat silent for a long while after. My stomach was in a knot. My face could not smile.

Shortly thereafter “public radio” began to receive support from the U.S. government. Now there are certain subjects that are not discussed on NPR – such as what really happened on 9-11.

Henry Kissinger is famous for saying, “The illegal we do immediately. The unconstitutional takes a little longer.”
